Kagoshima Creamy Tonkotsu Ramen
Kagoshima-style tonkotsu with scorched green onion.
A Sapporo Ichiban and Marutai collaboration: non-fried straight noodles in a mellow Kagoshima-style broth with onion oil and fried leek.
About this ramen
Kagoshima Creamy Tonkotsu rounds out Sanyo Foods' regional tonkotsu series with Marutai. Sanyo says the straight noodles are made without frying or steaming, for a fresh, handmade-like texture. The broth blends onion, garlic and sesame oils with soybean and onion powders, and fried leek chips stand in for Kagoshima's scorched green onions. Its creaminess comes from palm oil powder; no pork or dairy appears on the ingredient list. Each package holds two servings.
