Kumamoto Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen
Kumamoto-style tonkotsu with a big garlic hit.
A Sapporo Ichiban and Marutai collaboration: non-fried straight noodles in a garlicky Kumamoto-style tonkotsu broth with garlic and sesame oil.
About this ramen
Kumamoto Garlic Tonkotsu is part of Sanyo Foods' collaboration with Marutai, built around Marutai's non-fried straight noodles. Kumamoto ramen is known for its garlic, and Sanyo says this broth uses three types of garlic powder with soy sauce. A seasoned oil of garlic and sesame finishes the bowl, which Sanyo describes as Kumamoto's signature black garlic oil. As with the Hakata version, no pork appears on the ingredient list. Each package holds two servings.
