About this ramen
Sapporo Ichiban Tonkotsu aims for the creamy pork-bone style of Japanese ramen. A non-dairy creamer and lactose give the broth its milky body, and a pork fat flavoring made with rendered bacon fat adds richness. Chicken broth, garlic, sesame oil and spices round it out, with sesame seeds and dried leeks in the mix. Despite the non-dairy creamer, it contains milk: the creamer includes sodium caseinate, and lactose is listed too. It also contains sesame, along with wheat and soy.
