Sesame Buldak: Sesame Ramen + Buldak
Otoki Sesame Ramen's nutty chicken broth meets Buldak's capsaicin, and the result tastes a lot like the broth of dakbokkeumtang, Korean spicy braised chicken. Half of the Buldak sauce plus all of the Sesame Ramen powder is the balance point.

You'll need
- Water: about 3¾ cups (30 oz/900 mL)
- Topping: Sliced Cheddar Cheese (or raw egg)
- Topping: toasted sesame seeds
Method
- 1
Bring about 3¾ cups (30 oz/900 mL) of water to a boil. Add only two packets of noodles and boil for about 2 minutes until half cooked.
- 2
Drain the water, leaving only about 5 oz/150ml.
Add 1 egg, 1/3 of the Sesame Ramen powder soup, 1 packet of Buldak liquid soup, and boil for another 2 minutes and 30 seconds until the noodles are fully cooked. - 3
Turn off the heat, top with one or two slices of cheddar cheese, sprinkle with the Buldak flakes, and finish by generously sprinkling roasted sesame seeds if possible. Depending on your preference, you may also add the sesame oil soup included in sesame ramen.
Don't have sliced cheese? Try using a raw egg instead.
