About this ramen
Buldak means fire chicken in Korean, and this is the stir-fried noodle that launched Samyang's Buldak line and a wave of spicy-noodle challenge videos. The noodles are cooked, drained and tossed in a thick sauce of red pepper, soy sauce, sugar and artificial chicken flavor. Capsicum oleoresin and red pepper seed oil push the heat to around 4,404 SHU in our data, noticeably hotter than Shin Ramyun. A hint of curry flavor and black pepper sit behind the sweetness. Sesame seeds and dried seaweed flakes come in a separate packet for the top.
